Our shop, at the South Square Centre, Thornton Road, Thornton, Bradford, West Yorkshire, is open Thursday to Sunday, 12 noon - 3pm.

We also open on Gallery launch evenings which are held on the first Friday of every month from 6.30pm.

The South Square Centre is based within a Grade 2 Listed building in the centre of Thornton Village , on the outskirts of Bradford . The building also hosts two art art galleries, a popular vegetarian cafe, and a framing shop.

If you wish to submit items to be displayed for sale in the shop, please send or email photographs of your work to: info@uniquearts.co.uk or post to Unique Arts, South Square , Thornton , BD13 3LD.

• Items are taken on a SALE OR RETURN understanding and will be displayed for up to three months.
• A fee of £10 per quarter is payable in advance for the total number of items accepted. The first month is free so that we can see how your work is received. We ask that artists pay for a minimum of three months at a time.
• Payment for sales are made every three months.
• At the end of this period if your items have not sold, you are welcome to change them for other items. Otherwise they must be removed. Items not removed after six months will become the property of Unique Arts Limited and offered for sale at ‘bargain’ prices.
• Unique Arts adds a very small mark-up to items of 25-30%. Please bear this in mind when you price your artwork.

Unique Arts is a small organisation which is administered by two people. Although our artists help in the shop from time to time, we appreciate all the help we can get. Please don’t be afraid to offer your support!

We welcome all types of work including photography, paintings, textiles, hand-made crafts, ceramics, hand-made cards. The shop space is limited so we will not be able to display large items. We ask that items offered for sale are:

• Good quality
• Affordable
• Transportable (no huge oil paintings please!)
